Teaching History

I graduated from The Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) in the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University in 1998. I was a teaching assistant during the semester that I developed my graduate thesis project and discovered the joy of working with young artists in the classroom.

Upon graduation I began teaching as an adjunct in the Photography and Imaging Department (also in the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU). A fews years later I became a full time Associate Arts Professor.

During that time, I developed a new core curriculum with other faculty and taught several of those required courses.

I also developed courses of my own which included research, creation of syllabi and all course materials including in-depth slide lectures and tutorials. These courses are: Web Design, Multimedia Projects, Collage Projects and Art/Image/Technoculture.
